Your Imagination Has Been Hijacked
Part 1: The Superpower We Forgot We Had

Your imagination isn’t random.
It’s one of the most powerful abilities you have—
and one of the first things the world teaches you to ignore.
Are you consciously creating your life…
or simply living it without ever questioning
if it’s truly yours—
or even feels right?
When was the last time you imagined something…
beyond what feels safe, practical, or expected?
Not what looks good on paper.
Not what makes sense to everyone else.
But something that your heart quietly knows.
🌿 When We Stop Imagining
Somewhere along the way, many of us stopped imagining.
We became practical. Responsible. Logical.
We learned to focus on what’s in front of us…
instead of what’s possible.
And while there is wisdom in being present—
in grounding ourselves in the now—
without connecting to our heart,
over time something quietly goes missing.
Because imagination is not frivolous.
It is creation.
🌿 The Power of Thought
Imagination may be the most overlooked superpower we have.
Everything we create…
begins first as a thought.
A quiet idea.
An image.
A feeling.
And thoughts are not nothing.
They carry energy.
They shape our world.
So the real question becomes:
If you’re not consciously choosing your thoughts, your vision, your direction…
who—or what—is?
🌿 The Influence We Don’t See
There is a collective energy in this world.
A current.
A rhythm.
A momentum that will carry you…
whether you are aware of it or not.
And if you’re not connected to your own inner knowing…
it is very easy to get swept into it.
To follow what is expected.
To chase what others value.
To live a life that looks fine on the outside…
but feels disconnected on the inside.
That’s not living.
That’s existing.
🌿 What We Once Knew
But it wasn’t always this way.
As children…
we didn’t question it.
We imagined freely.
We believed fully.
We embodied what we dreamed.
But over time, the noise grows louder. The mind takes over.
The external world becomes dominant.
And that quiet inner voice?
It gets harder to hear.
🌿 The Need to Pause
This is why we need to pause.
Not as a luxury.
As a necessity.
Because if you don’t quiet your mind…
you may be living someone else’s vision.
Someone else’s definition of success.
Someone else’s version of a “good life.”
And your own?
It doesn’t disappear. It simply waits.
(Maybe pause here for a moment and remember what it felt like to believe anything is possible.)
🌿 Returning to Yourself in a World That Thinks for You
Meditation…
breath…
stillness…
These are not trends.
They are tools.
Ancient tools designed to bring you back into alignment.
Back to your heart.
Back to your inner wisdom.
Back to that deeper intelligence…
that may not always make logical sense—
but feels undeniably true.
And now… we’re entering a time where this matters more than ever.
Because for the first time…
we have tools that can think with us…
create for us…
even imagine on our behalf.
Which makes it even more important
to know what is truly yours.
Artificial intelligence is powerful.
It can generate ideas, write, solve problems,
and suggest what is “best.”
And while that can support us in incredible ways…
there’s also something to be aware of.
If you don’t know what you truly desire…
it becomes very easy to accept what is given.
Because it sounds good.
It looks right.
It feels complete.
But is it truly yours?
I’ve noticed this in my own experience.
When I begin with clarity—
with a message that comes from my heart…
AI becomes a tool.
It helps me refine.
Expand.
Express.
But when that clarity isn’t there…
it would be very easy to let it lead.
To accept the words.
The direction.
The ideas.
Without ever asking…
✨ Does this feel true to me?
And this is where imagination, inner wisdom,
and awareness becomes essential.
Because technology is not the problem.
Disconnection is.
When you are connected—
to your heart…
your vision…
your inner knowing…
AI becomes something we’ve never had before:
A tool to support creation.
But when you are disconnected…
it can quietly replace it.
🌿 Remembering a Different Way
Those of us who have lived without this level of noise—
without the ease of instant answers—
know what it feels like to think for ourselves.
To imagine freely.
To trust what arises from within.
We explored more.
We questioned more.
There was a willingness to be wrong…
an openness to finding our own way.
More flexibility.
More curiosity.
Less concern with the thoughts of others.
Maybe we were more connected…
to our heart.
More connected to what felt true—
before we learned to question it.
🌿 The Question That Matters
So the question isn’t:
“Is technology and AI good or bad?”
The real question is:
👉 Am I creating from within or slowly accepting what comes from outside?
Because when you’re not connected to your own inner knowing…
it becomes very easy to follow what is given—
instead of questioning what is true.
And maybe that’s where we begin to lose something…
without even realizing it.
So I’ll ask you…
Have you stopped listening to yourself?
🌿 When You Begin From Within
When you begin from within…
life shifts.
There is still effort.
There is still action.
But there is also a sense of flow.
Of being guided.
Of moving with something…
instead of forcing everything.
And that requires trust—
in your inner knowing,
your imagination,
your heart.
A way of being often described as flow.
🌟 What’s Next
Because the moment you begin to understand that…
is the moment everything can start to shift.
💛 To my Fellow Sage…
today isn’t about doing more.
It’s about remembering—
the beauty within you…
your unique, loving self.
And maybe…just notice what arises today.
What feels true. What doesn’t.
Because in the next piece…
we’re going to explore something deeper:
👉 When did you stop imagining… and why?
And you may be surprised by what you uncover.
